Vintage Trailer Rally - March 18-20

Well, Ellen could not make it home for this one, so I went by myself.  As usual, a great bunch of folks to be with.  Unusual, as our trailer is normally the oldest and at this rally, it was the newest.  Below is some of what was there.
1950 Spartan

Note street side rear door.

1950 Spartan & 1958 Impala
Spartan Owner

Bee Line Trailer

1964 Shasta
1963 Shasta
1963 Mobile Scout - was gutted, new studs, walls and ceiling installed, nothing else.  1st trip since purchase.  Mattress on floor, ice chest and lamp.  Will be great to see work process.

1964 Shasta freshly painted, picked up the day before the rally from paint shop.
You can see the lake from the campsite where we met for our potluck dinner.  Lots of great food!

1963 Shasta

1963 Airstream.  Neat US map on wall.  They had just bought this trailer and this was their 1st outing.
Another old Shasta.

Our trailer, newest at the rally.

1965 Mobile Scout

Another redone Shasta.

Another redone Shasta.

1989 VW Van Camper

Well, that gives you an idea of the rigs there.  Saturday, several of us went into Round Top to look around.  Twice a year, dealers set up booths along both sides of the road for about 10 miles to sell, old stuff and everything else.  We saw lots of interesting things, bought some, and it was not even the weekend of the sell.  Dealers were there setting up.  The next 2 weekends were the official weekends of the sell.  We only saw a small part, I cannot image how much was there for the sell.

Looking forward to the October Vintage Rally - hopefully we will be able to attend.
