Texas Hoedown, Bandera - March 25 - 28

Ellen was home and ready to go.  I brought the trailer home Thursday afternoon so we could load 1st thing Friday and get onto the road.  We wanted to get through San Antonio before the Friday afternoon rush hit.  We had an uneventful drive over there and got a nice campsite at Skyline RV Resort.  Most of us car pooled to the Old Spanish Trail restaurant for dinner Friday night.  We came back, sat around talking and catching up with everyone.  There was even 1 Texas size Marquita
Don made it just special for Sandy so we could tease her.

Saturday started with a potluck breakfast.  Boy what a bunch of great food.  We then took a tour around the country side.  It is dry out there, but still beautiful.  Went by the trailer to freshen up and then into town.  We wondered around town, did some "shopping", only bought fudge.  We did get to see the gun fight in the street.  Back to trailer for a short rest and then potluck dinner.  Again lots and lots of food.  Afterward, some of the ladies entertained us with line dancing.  Went outside and sat around talking until bed time.

Sunday morning, the time to get ready for the road.  We got away fairly early for us as we knew we had a lot to do unloading the trailer when we got home.  New flooring going in 1st week of April, so we took cushions, mattresses and bedding out and put on saw horses in garage.

Looks pretty sad.  It will get worse before better.
