I took our 18 ft. sailboat and a friend to Lake Bryan Friday afternoon where we met up with a number of boats from the sailing club. Lake Bryan is a small lake, but we had plenty of wind and got in about 3 hours of really good sailing. Here I am putting the boat back on the trailer getting ready to go home.
On Saturday, Ellen and I went to Lake Somerville where we keep the 22 ft. sailboat. We did some cleaning and then motored out into the lake, dropped anchor and swam for a while to cool off. We got into the boat and enjoyed a cold coke, hoisted sail and took off down the lake. We had a really great sail. Very pleasant out on the lake when the sun started getting low. Came in about 8:30 and put the boat away and headed home.
